Project Director – Call Centre Sales

  • Base $75K, OTE - $200K +
  • Located on Gold Coast, Qld

A leader in their field, this dynamic organisation is undergoing rapid growth and is currently seeking a dynamic leader to take on the role of Project Director within their Upgrades Department. This department of 15 -20 call centre reps, contacts existing customers offering upgrades of their services and has a solid history of achieving targets.

While this is a permanent full time role, base salary is $75 000 plus commission paid weekly based on results.  The previous Manager was earning $200 000 per annum.  Naturally for this kind of role, they are seeking a proven leader with strengths in staff training and development, motivation skills, performance management, staff retention, sales techniques as well as the profitable management of the department.

Responsibilities will include:-

  • Ensure efficient and effective operation of the owner enhancement department.
  • Achievement of budget to levels set out in KPI’s.
  • Be an instrumental figure in the overall well being of the department.
  • Execute all processes in line with the strategic intent of the business in relation to growth.
  • Identify growth opportunities to strengthen relationships with customers and sales and prepare appropriate recommendations for implementation.
  • Assess, develop and measure processes to determine ways to increase profitability.
  • Ensure a high level of staff satisfaction, measurable through turnover as per the KPI’s.
  • Provide leadership to strengthen the upgrades team and provide stability.
  • Effective recruitment, training and development of staff to increase production and ensure targets are met.
  • Implement required training and retention strategies.
  • Proactively identify areas for development and implement strategies.
  • Ensure accessibility and approachability with all staff.
  • Provide an active listening style and respond, provide feedback and follow up any issues raised.
  • Be a catalyst for motivation.
  • Generate, read and analyse the day-to-day reporting to identify issues and opportunities.
  • Actively seek feedback from the team to identify trends, and analyse and identify options for new sales campaigns to increase production.

The successful candidate will have a strong senior leadership background within a sales environment, preferably call centres, as well as proven management skills focusing on achieving results.
